Parkview Place & Aurora Home - Vanderhoof
Parkview Place – Independent Living for Adults (55+)
Parkview Place located at 2657 Church Avenue in Vanderhoof offers 20 seniors independent living units located on the second and third floors of the building. Each unit consists of an individual locked, one-bedroom suite with kitchen (fridge & stove included), and bathroom carefully designed for safety and ease of use.
Parkview Place offers a home environment, overlooking the beautiful Ferland Park as well as safety features such as grab bars in washrooms, smoke detectors/alarms, fire suppression/sprinkler system, elevator access and secure and accessible entrances. Apartments are bright and airy, with individual balconies; laundry facilities are located on each floor. These suites provide affordable rental accommodations with rental contributions based on a percentage of income.
Aurora Home at Parkview Place – Dementia Supportive Care Home
Aurora Home hosts 8 suites designed for older adults living with mild to moderate dementia with low physical care needs. Aurora Home offers clients a supportive and safe environment to live independently within their home community. Built on the unique needs of individuals, Aurora Home provides tailored holistic care planning, 24-hour staffing supports individuals in the management of medications, activities of daily living, cooking, cleaning and recreational programs and activities.
Aurora Home aims to foster independence and maintain the cognitive capacity of the people we serve, allowing them to age in place within a home environment. The home features new technologies such as our circadian lighting system throughout the home, that support dementia care while also providing traditional recreation programs, welcoming individual and shared living spaces and a healthcare team to offer support whenever it’s needed.

Riverside Place Housing for Seniors - Vanderhoof
Riverside Place provides modified rental apartments to seniors and/or people with disability who need some assistance in order to continue to live independently. There are 14 Assisted Living units and 18 Supportive Housing units. The programs provide support services such as one or two meals daily, weekly housekeeping and linen laundry, social and recreation activities, a lifeline emergency response system, and personal care (for assisted living tenants).
Other amenities offered at Riverside Place include a beautiful greenhouse maintained by staff and residents, as well as a brand new deck for seniors and their families to enjoy that overlooks Riverside Park and the Nechako River.

Riverglen - Vanderhoof
Riverglen Apartments offers affordable housing for low to moderate income families with children.
This housing complex is located across from an elementary school, and only a block away from the local high school. It is also centrally located within walking distance to downtown, and many parks and playgrounds.

Westside Court - Fort St. James
Westside Court is a BC Housing complex offering rent geared to income that is fully-fenced and is close to all amenities. It hosts 16 units, including one-, two- and three-bedroom homes that include in-suite laundry and built-in vacuums.
Westside Court boasts a large yard with raised garden beds for tenant use; a common building with a kitchen and dining area that can be booked by tenants to host get togethers, free of charge.
Pioneer Place - Fort St. James
Pioneer Place is centrally located near health care and recreation facilities. It offers independent living for seniors, and low-end of market rent. Each unit is self-contained with a kitchen, dining room, and single bedroom.
Featuring a beautifully kept yard, gardens and a greenhouse for tenant use; as well as a common room in the main building to play cards, visit with family and friends, or just hang out. There is plenty of space for tenants to enjoy.
Neghuni Ghunli-un - Fort St. James
Neghuni Ghunli-un, located at 305 Pineridge Way in Fort St. James, offers 36 seniors independent living units. Each unit consists of an individual locked, one-bedroom suite with kitchen (fridge & stove included), and bathroom carefully designed for safety and ease of use.
Neghuni Ghunli-un offers a home environment, overlooking the beautiful Stuart Lake as well as safety features such as grab bars in washrooms, smoke detectors/alarms, fire suppression/sprinkler system, elevator access and secure and accessible entrances. Homeless Prevention Program (HPP)
This program supports a diverse adult client population (19+ yrs.) who are tenants, and/or at risk of homeless on a case-by-case basis. These supports include short term rental supplements for tenants, referrals to appropriate housing options, and referrals to other community resources where needed.

Homeless Outreach Program (HOP)
This program supports adult clients (19+ yrs.) who require immediate outreach assistance on a case by case basis. This includes referrals to emergency shelters, health care, counselling, addiction recovery, the local food bank, or any other relevant and appropriate supports.

Connexus is fully accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This accreditation ensures we are meeting internationally developed standards in the provision of quality services and is achieved through an independent, external review to identify strengths and areas for improvement based on objective program expectations and guidelines.
