Following the election of officers on July 28, 2026, the Board of Directors for Connexus is pleased to introduce Incoming Chair Gokce Ozel. Ann McCormick will transition to Vice-Chair, supporting continuity and a seamless handover in the short term.
Gokce brings a strong background in operational oversight, finance, and organizational design with leadership experience in both public and private sectors.
Following these changes, the current Board of Directors will consist of:

A message from the Chair:
Hello, everyone! I am excited to take on this role after following the organization’s progress from the sidelines.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to recognize Ann McCormick for her leadership and contributions as Chair. Her stewardship has been particularly important during a period of organizational change, and I am grateful for her commitment to continue as the Vice-Chair. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Bob as he continues in his role as Treasurer.
Recognizing that a senior leadership vacancy can create uncertainty, I want to re-iterate the Board’s commitment to maintaining continuity through support and clarity for the management team. It is the Board’s immediate priority to advance the Executive Director search with diligence and urgency.
The management team will continue to lead day-to-day operations within their portfolios. With the assistance of the Leadership Committee, I will serve as the principal point of contact between the Board and the organization during this transition. Staff should continue to raise operational matters through their regular management channels.
Lastly, I would like to recognize your continued professionalism, patience, and commitment through this period. The work of the organization continues because of your dedication to the people and communities it serves. As the Board of Directors, we remain committed to communicating openly as decisions are made and updates become available.
